Our Amann Girrbach Ceramills®
Amann Girrbach Ceramills® are on the frontier of dental technology with their high degree of accuracy and high-tech capability. We are proud to have a Ceramill® Motion 2 in each of our dental lab locations.
Ceramill® Motion 2: 5-axis milling machine.
This state-of-the-art machine uses sophisticated technology to process both wet and dry materials. This allows us to work with a maximum variety of blanks and create a wide range of restorations. It is extremely precise and highly productive, resulting in shorter processing times without sacrificing quality.

It’s not rocket science. Lab Station 32 uses Amann Girrbach certified zirconia, which offer the best of both worlds when it comes to natural-looking aesthetics and durability. Whatever the mission, our ceramics are a consistent quality.
Ceramill® ZI: Low translucency with high biocompatibility, strength, & rigidity.
These low translucent zirconia blanks have a high flexural strength of up to 1200 MPA and an opacity value of approximately 70%. They can be customized with coloring liquids, and they are ideal for long-span frameworks.
Ceramill® Zolid White: High translucency with high biocompatibility, strength, & rigidity.
These high translucent zirconia blanks offer premium, natural-looking aesthetics with a wide range of customization. They are also known for their impressive light dynamics and depth effect.
Ceramill® Zolid FX White: Super high-translucency with long-term strength & stability.
These white super high-translucent zirconia blanks have double the strength compared to previous materials and require minimally invasive preparation. They are a great high-performance, ceramic alternative to lithium disilicate.
Ceramill® Zolid FX Multilayer: This highly translucent zirconia has seamless shade and translucency gradient.
The smooth shade simulates enamel, dentin, and cervical shades without break lines. An intelligent nesting concept allows the the shades within the blank to be linked. This is ideal for highly aesthetic anterior restorations. We can use the Zolid FX to create fully anatomical crowns and bridges, anatomically reduced crown and bridge frameworks, telescope and conical crowns, veneers, inlays, and inlays.
BruxZir® Solid Zirconia: Full-contour zirconia for a more durable and cementable solution.
Originally designed to be a more durable and aesthetic alternative to metal occlusal PFMs or cast gold, BruxZir now boasts improved translucency and a color similar to natural dentition. Their excellent shade consistency now makes them ideal for anterior use as well.
Katana™ Zirconia: A multi-layered zirconia designed for highly aesthetic anterior crowns and veneer restorations.
Choose from the ST (super-translucent) or UT (ultra-translucent) variations. The zironcia ST is great for anterior or posterior crowns while the UT is perfect for anterior crowns or veneer restorations. The end result is a very natural look.
Additional Materials: PMMA provisionals and milled wax.
We accept all open source .stl files from any major intraoral or lab scanner, including Trios 3Shape, 3M True Definition, Carestream, CEREC, and DentalWings.
